Church of God Mission International Honours Dr. Andrew Igwe for Community Development Contributions

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Dr. Andrew A. Igwe Care Foundation (DAAICF), Dr. Andrew A. Igwe, has been honoured by Church of God Mission International Incorporated in recognition of his outstanding contributions to community growth and development.

The award was presented on April 14, 2024, during the official dedication of the Church's ultra-modern auditorium and the inauguration of the Omoku Zone, held in Omoku, the headquarters of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA), Rivers State.

The honour was bestowed in appreciation of Dr. Igwe's unwavering commitment to humanitarian service, educational support, community development, youth empowerment, and other philanthropic initiatives that have positively impacted countless lives across communities.

The colourful event attracted respected church leaders, dignitaries, community stakeholders, and worshippers from different parts of the country.

Among the distinguished guests in attendance was Bishop Dr. Feb Idahosa, JP, OON, son of the late renowned evangelist and founder of Church of God Mission International, Archbishop Benson Idahosa.

During the ceremony, Dr. Igwe was commended for his dedication to improving the lives of individuals through selfless service and for consistently investing his resources in projects that promote social welfare, education, and sustainable community development.

The recognition further highlights the impact of the Dr. Andrew A. Igwe Care Foundation's numerous interventions, which continue to support students, widows, vulnerable persons, and communities across Rivers State and beyond.
